You can take this to the bank and deposit it! Here are a list of 20 things that will help you keep “death at a distance” if you follow them in your everyday life. You may not like to hear some of them, but I’m not about appeasement, I’m about honesty. So here goes:

20 Daily Things to do to Keep Death at a Distance

  1. Drink five 8-oz glasses of water.
  2. Take a laugh break.
  3. Sick? Don’t go to work!
  4. Get rid of indigestion. (DefeatingBadEating.com)
  5. Burn 1200 calories a week through some form of activity.
  6. Take a good multivitamin supplement.
  7. Lift weights.
  8. Eat produce at every meal.
  9. Think positive thoughts.
  10. Keep your cool. (Anger is very detrimental.)
  11. Respect oceans, lakes and rivers as natural resources.
  12. Try natural remedies.
  13. Eat breakfast within 90 minutes of waking up.
  14. Eat berries. (Great antioxidant properties can help prevent strokes and ward off cancer.)
  15. Take a daily nap.
  16. Use a cinnamon stick or cloves in a car to help you stay alert if you feel drowsy.
  17. Learn how to “drown-proof” yourself.
  18. Be adamant about staying in a smoke-free environment.
  19. Avoid lightning.
  20. Make sure your home’s smoke alarms work.
